Goal: The key objectives of the study are:
1. Assessments of the socio-economic crisis of the population that is facing such recurrent natural hazard like riverbank erosion in Barisal.
2. Finding out the possible rehabilitation and mitigation strategy for the affected people due to riverbank erosion.
3. To draw the attention of the government and non-government agencies as the other disasters do.
